2. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and job role
- Company information: company name, DOT/MC number, address
- Operational records: load details, trip data, rate confirmations, bills of lading, proof of delivery documents
- Financial records: rates, payments, expenses entered by your company for internal accounting
Information collected automatically:
- GPS location data (drivers only): collected while the mobile app is active during an assigned trip, for real-time dispatch visibility and mileage tracking
- Device information: device type, operating system version, app version
- Technical logs: crash reports, diagnostic data for security and troubleshooting
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and operate the LoadAnvil platform (dispatch, trip tracking, load management, invoicing, reporting)
- Display real-time driver location to authorized dispatchers and owners within your company
- Calculate mileage, profitability, and financial reports
- Send notifications about load assignments and status updates
- Provide customer support
- Maintain security and prevent fraud
- Comply with applicable law
We do not use your information for advertising purposes. We do not build advertising profiles from your data.
4. Location Data — Driver Notice
If you are a driver using the LoadAnvil mobile app:
- GPS location is collected while you are logged in and have an active trip assigned or choose your status - "Available"
- Location is not collected continuously outside of active trip sessions (Off duty)
- Your employer (the carrier company) has authorized this tracking as part of dispatch operations
- Some U.S. states require separate written notice from your employer regarding electronic monitoring — this policy covers LoadAnvil's data practices; your employer is responsible for any state-required employee monitoring disclosures
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:
- Cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS) who host and process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
- Other authorized users within your company, based on role-based access controls (drivers see only their own loads; dispatchers and owners see company-wide data)
- Law enforcement or government authorities, when required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law
Data is isolated per company. Users from one company cannot access data belonging to another company.
6. Data Retention
Operational records (loads, trips, financial entries) are retained indefinitely in an inactive state after deactivation for audit and compliance purposes. This is consistent with recordkeeping requirements applicable to the U.S. trucking industry (FMCSA regulations).
Personal account data for users whose company has terminated service will be retained for a consistent period and then anonymized or deleted upon written request, subject to legal retention obligations.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including California CCPA/CPRA, Colorado CPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Virginia VCDPA, and others), including the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Request a copy of your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information)
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS)
- Role-based access controls
- Full audit logging on all key records
- Infrastructure hosted on AWS with WAF protection
No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.

If we become aware of such a collection, we will delete it promptly in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
